Gracol produced the design used for two clarifier covers at Dunedin STP. These round 27 metre diameter concrete tanks are covered with GRACOLITE pultruded cover panels. The following photos show the system of support beams with our UNIQUE panel locking edge which allows for the simple and fast assembly of the roof cover.
The GRACOLITE cover panel is designed with a concave edge on each side allowing for a pultruded 32 x 25 round tube to be used as a Jointer. This can be fitted dry or with an adhesive/sealant depending on the application:

If sections of the cover need to be removed for machinery maintenance it would be fitted dry.
Note: In these photos how the panel sections have been precut to required shape and size, these are then fitted into each roof segment from the bottom and pushed up into each other.
Beams: For this project the main beams, each 9.6 metre long are made from 200 x 100 steel RHS with the 73 x 63 x 6 pultruded I Beam section glued and screwed on top forming the channel to locate the roof panels:
Sub frame support beams are 200 x 100 x 10 pultruded I sections.
